Jessica Kinney always knew that she wanted to be an actress. Even at the early age of three she was on tape quoting scenes from The Breakfast Club. Performance of any kind was her passion whether it was gymnastics, dancing, sports, or singing. Still, none gave her the same fulfillment as acting. After graduating high school with honors in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where she grew up, she decided to go back to her birth state and study theatre at Colorado State University.

Soon after, she moved to Los Angeles and has been pursuing a film career since. Her first lead was in “Wedding Slashers” as the character of Jenna. From there she went on to be the lead in Terri Clark’s music video “She Didn’t Have Time,” which she got to go back to her southern roots to shoot. Then in 2006 she landed a recurring role on My Network TV’s “Desire” playing the role of Simona, the best friend of a mob boss’s daughter. She then landed another lead role in a Chicago based production called LAID that will be coming out in theaters in late 2010. Jessica also has had multiple movies in festivals including Slamdance and the New Orleans film festival and you can rent many movies of hers online.

When she isn’t filming now, she is writing and has been doing so for four years now. Jessica is currently writing and making her directing debut with a web series called "True Pairs (truepairs.com). She is also creating an animated series that she wrote and does the voices for.

She is so thankful to have a supportive family and wonderful parents. She owes everything to them and their support. Her mother is her shining light in the dark and her hero. She would also like to say a thank you to Doug Warhit for all of his wonderful teaching - she couldn’t have done it without you.
